Ramp up of Product Development Efficiencies
Our client, a leading Asian pharmaceutical company, aimed to enhance its development efficiency and decision making, as a part of an internal cross-functional design initiative cutting across R&D and Project Management functions. The overall initiative was a step-in order to achieve the next phase of goals on the road to 2015 vision defined for the organization.
Garphi supported the Development Efficiency initiative team with high quality quantitative analysis by an associate, focused on the following areas:
• Planned vs. Actuals, across all projects/ activities in R&D, phase and priority
• Resource demand vs. supply for different departments
• Headcount and FTEs compliance across different departments
• Internal and external costs by trial, patient, phase
The analysis helped to highlight definitive areas of improvement for the organization and subsequent roll out of corrective actions.
